I’m Chane
I was born in South Africa and moved to California when I was young. My connection to nature has always shaped the way I see the world—and the photographs I make.
I’m drawn to places with character: the light moving through a room, a landscape changing with the weather, and the small details you notice when you slow down.

Through my lens
My first camera was a birthday gift in 2015. I began photographing animals, then followed that curiosity into wildlife and travel.
Those beginnings still guide my work. I pay attention to atmosphere, texture, and natural moments, creating warm, grounded photographs that carry a sense of place.

Travel
For me, a stay is part of a larger journey. The room matters, but so does the morning coffee, the walk nearby, and the landscape beyond the window.
I bring that perspective to hospitality photography, creating a connected collection of images that helps people imagine being there.

Interesting Fact
Alongside photography, I work in accounting and have two young children. I enjoy reading, video games, camping, and exploring outdoors.
Photography gives me a reason to keep noticing—even close to home. Wildlife remains a particular love, and I return to it whenever I can.
